Buttermilk substitute
1 tablespoon of white vinegar plus enough milk to total 1 cup can be a substitute for 1 cup of buttermilk.Or 2/3 cup of plain yoghurt plus 1/3 cup milk.

The Best BBQ Ribs

2kgs Spareribs
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup tomato ketchup
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Worcester sauce(Lea & Perrins)
1/4 cup Rum
1/2 cup sweet chilli sauce
3 cloves garlic ,crushed
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp ground black pepper

1.Pre heat oven to 350F/175C/Gas Mark
2.Cut the ribs in racks of 6 ribs per rack.Place in a baking tray and cover with a double layer of foil,not too tight .
3.Bake for 1 1/2 hours and then remove from oven ,drain and place in a large dish.
4.Combine the remaining ingredients together .Pour over the ribs,mix well thoroughly coating the ribs.
5.Marinate for at least 3 hours ,if possible overnight in the refrigerator.
6.BBQ and enjoy!!!
